Revive tired old Christmas decorations with some festive Plasti-kote Super spray paint. Artificial Christmas trees that have seen better days can be given a colourful new lease of life with a can of Real Red. For a more subtle, natural look, spray cone wreaths and swags in Matt White or Porcelain.

Rummaging in the bottom of the Christmas box might unearth some platters or gift boxes past their best. A few minutes with a can of spray paint can re-invent them. Spray the platters and a few baubles or cones and add a few candles from a budget shop. A quick spraying of gift boxes, or even shoe boxes, will make any present look gorgeous - add some luxurious ribbon to complete the look.

For many, this Christmas will have to be less extravagant. Making some simple decorations will save money and be quite satisfying. Paper doilies can be sprayed in one of the fabulous Plasti-kote metallic colours for festive place mats. Keep seed heads to spray for a long lasting and stylish table centre. We collected sticks, cut them to size, sprayed them and stuck them on an old jar for an original vase. Add to that some cheap tea-light holders sprayed with Plasti-kote Flat Copper to create an expensive-looking lustre and the Christmas table is all set to last through to New Year. For a more sophisticated look, do the same but use Matt White and Brushed Nickel.

Twigs and ivy can be sprayed and will last for ages. Old baubles get a new lease of life with the Plasti-kote spray treatment. It couldn't be easier or quicker. Take some chicken wire, spray it the colour of your choice and use sprayed mini pegs to clip the cards on to the wire - simple! And finally, if you want some festive art, find an old frame in a junk shop - doesn't matter if it is damaged - spray it with Plasti-kote Metallic Red, spray a cracker or bauble in the same colour and blu-tack it on for a 3D effect.
