Fed up with a tired-looking kitchen but don't have the budget for a new one? We transformed this kitchen with a bit of elbow grease, a new blind and a few cans of Plasti-kote spray paint - the whole project costing under £250!

We sprayed the units with Plasti-kote Cupboard Colours which comes in five colours and retails at £6.99 for a 400ml can. The chairs and cake tins were sprayed using Plasti-kote Super spray paints which come in a wide range of colours and finishes, and retails at £5.49 for a 400ml can. The fridge was given a much-needed makeover with Plasti-kote Fridge Colours in Flat Silver (£6.99 for 400ml can). Finally, we took a piece of MDF, some rope and a can of Plasti-kote Chalkboard to create a useful blackboard.
