Saying I love you in more than just words

Take a plain wooden or clay heart, spray it with Plasti-kote Chalkboard spray paint and leave a personal message for a loved one - it says so much more than a card and a box of chocolates. It says you are thoughtful and creative about your own Valentine's message. For a plain heart, use one of the range of Plasti-kote Super spray paints - we have used Bright Red Super Gloss. You could make your own heart using salt dough or buy a plain wooden heart from a good craft shop.

How to do it:
1. Make sure the hearts are clean and dry.

2. In a well-ventilated area, with protection on surfaces that you don't want sprayed, apply three fine layers of Chalkboard spray paint leaving 15 minutes between each coat. The heart will be thoroughly dry in 30 minutes.

3. While waiting for the Chalkboard to dry, spray the other heart with Plasti-kote Bright Red Super Gloss spray paint. Again, use three fine coats of paint leaving 5-10 minutes between each coat. The heart will be touch dry in 15 minutes, thoroughly dry in 30 minutes.
