Plasti-kote Strengthens Sales Force to Support its Retailers

Plasti-kote, the market leading spray paint brand of the Valspar Corporation, has strengthened its sales force by appointing two senior sales people to look after independent retailers in the South East and Central England.

"These are certainly challenging times for the DIY industry but we have continued to see growth in our market share. Adding value for retailers by investing in our sales team is a central part of our strategy." said Paul Silk, Head of Sales & Marketing.

The new members of Plasti-kote's sales team have experience at regional and national levels as well as strong business development skills. They also bring with them an understanding of fulfilling the needs of a diverse range of retailers and consumers. James Clark, account manager for Central England, has 16 years experience with ICI gaining an in-depth knowledge of the paint industry. Neil Roberts, account manager for the South East, has extensive business development and key account experience for a number of national organisations including Pepsico and Cadbury Schweppes.
